Peris has over ten years of experience in financial management, analysis, project management, grants management, and ERP systems implementation. She has a strong track record of designing and implementing financial systems, policies, and internal controls for organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Notable achievements include unqualified opinions for audit reports, enhanced budget utilization and 100% grants compliance from major donors.
Throughout her professional career, Peris has held number of positions with increased responsibilities at TradeMark Africa, KPMG Kenya, GlaxoSmithKline Limited, the Kenya Medical Research Institute and Fairtrade Africa. She has worked in budget forecasting, project management, enterprise resource planning, financial accounting, and grants management.
Peris holds a Master's in Economics-Policy and Management, a Bachelor's in Economics, and a Certified Project Management for Professional certification. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) Kenya chapter.
