Mali Eber Rose

Research and Policy Analyst

Her work on Ceres2030: Sustainable Solutions to End Hunger, specifically its application to Ethiopia, Malawi, and Nigeria, has been particularly noteworthy. She co-authored a paper on the trends in official development assistance for agriculture. 

Mali is also pursuing studies in International Relations with Quantitative Research Methods at the University of Leeds.

Mali has lived and worked in several countries, including France, Australia, and Switzerland, providing her with a global perspective on agricultural and development issues. She is also fluent in English and has an intermediate level of proficiency in French.

Mali brings a wealth of experience in sustainable agriculture and donor financing to her role at the Shamba Centre. 

Prior to joining the organization, she worked as a research analyst at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), where she focused on increasing and improving public investment in agriculture to facilitate sustainable food systems transformation. 

With a keen interest in donor financing, Mali is exploring ways to increase and more effectively disburse foreign aid to achieve zero hunger.
